Reservation Policies – Chicago Slingshot Tour

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking.

NOTE: You are responsible for all damages to the slingshot during the rental period — this includes any amount above the security deposit. Fuel is included; you will not be charged for gas upon return.

1. RENTAL FEES AND DEPOSITS

1.1 Rental fees must be paid in advance and are based on the rental period selected at the time of booking.

1.2 A $300 security deposit per vehicle is required at the time of rental. This will be refunded upon safe return of the slingshot in the same condition as received.

1.3 Late returns will result in a fee of $50 for every 30 minutes past your scheduled return time.

2. BOOKING CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

2.1 Cancellations made 5 or more days in advance of the reservation will receive a full refund.

2.2 Cancellations made 4 days or fewer before the reservation will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

2.3 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation are non-refundable.

3. DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS AND SAFETY

3.1 Only individuals 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license may operate the slingshot.

3.2 All drivers must attend a mandatory safety briefing before the rental begins.

3.3 The slingshot must not be operated under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

3.4 All drivers and passengers must wear seatbelts at all times.

3.5 Do not exceed the passenger or weight limit of the vehicle.

4. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SLINGSHOT

4.1 You are responsible for the slingshot during the rental period and must return it in the same condition it was in at pickup.

4.2 You are responsible for any damage that occurs during your rental and will be charged for all repair costs, even if they exceed the deposit amount.

4.3 You are responsible for any tickets, citations, or legal issues that arise while operating the slingshot.

5. LIABILITY

5.1 We are not liable for any lost or damaged personal property during the rental period.

5.2 We are not liable for any injury or death resulting from use of the slingshot.

5.3 You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from your use of the slingshot.

6. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible for any cancellations or failure to provide service due to events beyond our control (e.g., weather, accidents, acts of God, government orders, etc.).

7. LAW AND JURISDICTION

This agreement is governed by the laws of Illinois. Any legal disputes must be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

8. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This policy represents the entire agreement between the renter and Chicago Slingshot Tour and supersedes all prior communications or understandings.
